In addition to his own 1:1 clients, Brian worked part time at The Wolf and Dog Development Centre as a licensed instructor.
Using the natural language and education system learned from the wolf family, Shaun and Kim Ellis devised a developmental approach to working and communicating with dogs. As part of the centre team, Brian helped to rehabilitate dogs that have disruptions to their development or have experienced trauma. By understanding that behind each behaviour is a dog communicating their needs, sessions can be devised to address the individual and move a dog forward to the next stage of development. The centre has 29 dogs which Brian both trained and used with the rest of the team as teaching dogs during schooling sessions.
This approach can also be used to raise balanced puppies.

with the centre animals.
